| E94 088 of GES - Gesellschaft zur Erhaltung von Schienenfahrzeugen e.V. is pushing and helping a Special Train of HEF - Historische Eisenbahhn Frankfurt with Steam locomotive 01 118 up the old Spessart ramp. E94 088 was build by Kraus-Maffei (mechanical part) and Siemens-Schuckert-Werke (electrical part) in 1943 and delivered to former Deutsche Reichsbahn and deployed in Salzburg. After WWII the locomotive remained in Austria and got the number 1020.10 of ?BB -Austrian railway. After decommisioning in 1994, the engine is preserved by GES. Photo was made during farewell event for the ols Spessart ramp. thanks to all who made this unique Event possible. |
