The eastbound Southwest Chief races along nearly six hours late due to a late departure out of Los Angeles two evenings prior. Train #4 has also routinely been running late for the past few weeks due to ongoing track work on the New Mexico Railrunner owned trackage between Albuquerque and Lamy.
