The 5th and final New England Central 6-axle locomotive has been painted for the 2017 budget year and is seen leading the 611 - Brattleboro, VT to Palmer, MA - turn train over the Connecticut River at East Northfield, MA. The consist was led by NECR SD40M-2 (both SD45 carbodies) 3476 (ex-2681), 3475 (ex-2680) and SD40T-2 3317.
