MNCW 4908 is doing trial runs in commuter service as it approaches its final stop of Port Jervis. NJT 4146 (GP40PH-2A; ex-Chesapeake & Ohio GP40 CO 4081) is the second unit helping out. The leader was originally built as F40PHR AMTK 382 for Amtrak. It was bought by Metro-North Railroad and rebuilt into F40PH-2CAT MNCW 4192. In 2011, it was rebuilt again for Metro-North Railroad as F40PH-3C MNCW 4908.
