It's just about golden hour and the colors of the sun are warm while NS train #65W with NS 1072 doing the honors, the Illinois Terminal heritage unit, rolls past the Pettisville, OH grain elevator, CP-324 on the NS Chicago Line, and passes a couple of the many corn fields in this rural area. About 15 minutes prior to this picture, NS 14N with NS 8099 cruised by. You can see NS 1072's headlight was dimmed moving closer to 14N. This is my 15th heritage unit...only 5 more to go.
