As the sun climbs into the sky, painting Tehachapi's golden hills in warm morning light, a pair of westbounds are caught in its glint. In the lower foreground Union Pacific's MWCRV carefully drifts through Caliente while 700' above BNSF's Z WSPSTO can be seen at Cliff.
