| ?BB 2048 008-3 and 2048 011-7 with pick up freight 76713 from Lambach to Laakirchen. The locomotives were origanaly from DB. Due to the fact that the locomotives of the class had reached their economic livespan, DB sold them to Layritz, a scrapping company. In the meantime ?BB was short of diesellocomotives with a power of about 1000 hp. For this reason ?BB bought a number of locomotives of DB class 211 from Layritz, give them some overhaul and put them into service as ?BB clas 2048. ?BB 2048 008-3 is former DB 211 274-6, ?BB 2048 011-7 is former DB 211 350-4.
