Black Five No.45231 'The Sherwood Forester' crosses the Glenfinnan Viaduct, with The Jacobite to Mallaig. This bridge has become very well known since appearing in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and there were plenty of non-railfan photographers around me on the hill. Further down the valley, buses full of tourists take the side-on shot. In peak season The Jacobite runs twice every day; this is the afternoon train, which will cross the returning morning run just around the corner at Glenfinnan station.
