Deseret Power’s morning, loaded, train ran around 4 hours early this morning so as to open a window for the maintenance crew to replace a rail at around MP 1.5. The now empty returning morning train was stopped about a half mile short of the maintenance crew and waited for them to finish before proceeding down to the loadout for the afternoon crew. Meanwhile, Shift Supervisor Rick showed up and ferried the train crew back to the office for lunch. So here is the stopped train sitting in beautiful sun waiting for the crew to return. These E-60 electrics are huge; compare to the Ford F350 sitting alongside.
