      Remarks & Notes
Well... I didn't quite get here in time, lol. Looking to the center right, under the bridge and across from the fence is what remains of the former one-story tan brick building was constructed by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1953. That utilitarian structure replaced an earlier Victorian depot built in 1893. In its place, a new station will be built in its place to be known as the Paoli Intermodal Transportation Center. Both SEPTA and Amtrak will continue to use this station located on the Keystone Corridor 20 miles west of Philadelphia. Interestingly, the two center tracks have been removed to make way for a new high level center platform. Seems odd to me that such a bottle neck would be engineered into the design, though I believe the 4 track main funnels into 2 tracks not much further west of the station. The bridge as seen will also be replaced and located east of the station.
