| CP's Kansas City bound daily freight makes a rare meet in southern Iowa. I have been trying to catch the new railroad, Iowa Southern, when I am down seeing my in-laws. Well I managed to get them while chasing 474 out of Foster. Here the CP train had to flag by the red signal at Moravia due to the Iowa Southern working on picking up these units bound for RELCO.
The ISRY leased 35 miles of trackage from the Appanoose County Community Railroad. Most of this track is ex-Wabash trackage with alittle ex-Rock Island trackage. The railroad runs from Centerville and Albia. |
