Well I figured getting trains on the Big Sandy would be the hardest part of my trip. Turned out 6 trains in daylight wasn't an issue. Here is my 2nd northbound load heading out of Paintsville after day break. The train is winding along the Levisa Fork River about 5 miles north of Paintsville. The train is just thru Thelma and is working between SK Cabin and GC Cabin. This is ex-C&O country, lots of cool old signals left! Here is one of the few double tracked ex-C&O signal bridges left on this route.
