| The NS 8100 along with 4 other AC units lead a 128 car coal train south at the NC/Va state line. NS has been experimenting with running larger trains to Belews Creek Steam Station in an attempt to reduce transportation costs for Duke Energy. 3 AC units on the head end along with 2 AC manned pushers are required to move this heavy train south on the curvy "Punkin Vine" |
