| I'm imagining it was pretty cold on this clear winter day in the twin cities. Here, my father is standing on the bridge carrying the east-west track at Westminster Junction (the North end of the Y). Based on the snow cover, it would appear that the eastern pair of tracks passing under Westminster Junction were much busier than the western pair. Two former Great Northern SD7s lead a transfer past the former Northern Pacific roundhouse in a scene that has since changed significantly in the ensuing years.
