Remarks & Notes

Fire, Water and the Pacific Surfliner. Hurrying past the ever growing the Thomas Fire, Amtrak 769 passes through Seacliff as it heads north for its next station stop of Carpinteria. Later that night, the fire would jump US 101 and race all the way down to the tracks - closing the coast line to rail traffic for most of December 7.
