| Amtrak's southbound "Saluki" passes under the signal bridge protecting the north side of Du Quoin, IL. Leading this train was one of Amtrak's new Siemens SC-44s. While maybe more efficient, the new locomotive did not make the train on-time as this train pulled into Du Quoin about 2 hours behind schedule. |
