    Remarks & Notes
Looking for coal. On a very chilly December morning, WW&F Locomotive #9 climbs the hill to the upper yard in Sheepscot en route to the coal bunker for some fuel, because she's got virtually none on board. Shortly, she'll tie onto her train and begin the first of 5 round trips to Alna Center as part of the WW&F Museum's Victorian Christmas Event.

The little wooden structure on the left side of the photo is fast becoming one of my favorite props at the museum. It's a replica of a Section House that once stood in Whitefield, ME, on the original WW&F. It is used to store track maintenance equipment, including a couple of hand cars, and a lot of hand tools such as spike mauls and lining bars. The section house was built for the museum as a gift by a wedding party. The bride and groom were both museum regulars and they actually got married in a ceremony in the yard. Among the members, the little structure is more generally known as the "Wedding Section House."
