        In front of the world famous 4478 meter (14691 feet) high Matterhorn, freshly snowed from the day before, the vintage cogwheel railcar Bhe 2/4 # 3019 from 1961 is reaching Gornergrat station in about one minute. The 1898 opened Gornergrat Bahn was electrified with three-phase AC 750 V from the beginning, the gauge is 1 meter, grade up to 20.0 % with Abt cogwheel system.
