| One thing high on the "to do" list on our October trip was the CP H51/52 locals based out of Max on the New Town Sub. For the CP in 2017, this standard cab consist is pretty sweet. The H51 day job went out to New Town and back on this Monday. We chased them back towards Max and the job stopped to do work here at Prairie Junction. Lots of old abandoned oil pumping stations in this area.
The New Town Sub is a booming place. Crazy how much business has grown up in this part of the North Dakota! Far cry from what this line once was! |
