| A Fish Out of Water. Miles away from its home rails on San Joaquin service, CDTX 2052 and a trio of Amtrak California coaches find themselves on the rear of Amtrak 763 this morning as it coasts through Emma Wood State Beach on its journey north. Brought down to Los Angeles from Oakland two days ago, CDTX 2052, sister 2051 and 8 coaches have immediately been placed into action to help relieve already overcrowded trains during the closure of US 101 in Montecito. |
