          Remarks & Notes
After Milwaukee Road 261 was delayed more than an hour to check on possible mechanical problems, it finally received permission to continue. However, by this time, the shadows were quickly enveloping Mahoning Creek. With only seconds to spare, 261 finally came into view and rolled across the bridge. By the time the rear passed, it was in shadows.
