| BNSF C44-9W #789 in warbonnet paint leads the Amtrak Empire Builder to Chicago. Blizzard conditions in Montana may have contributed not only to the 5-hour delay but also the need to have the locomotive on point.
It's been a long time since a warbonnet has been seen leading Amtrak around here, and it couldn't have come in better weather. |
