Remarks & Notes

In a bizarre twist, Union Pacific leased two of McCloud River SD38's in 1988. UP L can be seen on the nose of the locomotives. They are on track-age that has now been dormant for about 18 years. The Union Pacific right of way is now owned by Utah Transit Authority. Union Pacific uses the former Rio Grande right away now to get to Provo.
