| CSX wasn’t the only one to make changes to train schedules in my area during 2017. Management decided to cut the daily through trains off the CofG route and instead use it as an “as needed” line for random moves and some coal empties. This evening finds the last daily NS 137 freight train that will travel from Columbus to Birmingham. A new crew has just come on board and goes about performing a routine pickup/setout at the yard as the evening sets in. |
