In a high country snowstorm, an eastbound Burlington Northern freight has stopped at the end of double track to meet a westbound freight on March 3, 1988. Even though the wet snow and wind is making things a bit unbearable outside, a crew member steps off lead locomotive GP50 No. 3152 to give the westbound a “roll by” inspection along with a friendly wave.
