| Looking like they are about to have a "corn field meet", I98 is actually preparing to diverge off of the AGS #2 main and onto the Passenger main on the right as it gets around the NS 936 maintenance of way train. The 20th Street control point, as it is referred to over the radio, was built by NS in 2007 and came online in 2008. This universal crossover and secondary main line built along with it allow for more fluidity around Irondale to the trains that need to bypass the massive Norris Yard located here. |
