Empty coal hoppers scream through the hollers of Dickens County Virginia as CSX E760 makes its way up the former Clinchfield Railroad destined for the mines to the north to get more black rock from the cold hard ground. The Clinchfield signals at Delano frame the train up as it snakes its way alongside the Russel Fork River through the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia.
