| With their 3 loads of riprap in hand, the conductor of A746 covers his eyes as he looks up at the signal protecting the level crossing with NS and checks to see if he has a light across the diamond yet. Even though this portion of the A&WP is now under Centralized Traffic Control, this interlocking with NS is still automatic with a first come first served logic that governs train movements across it. In a few minutes the signal will finally turn green allowing for their southbound movement over the other southeastern railroad. |
