      Remarks & Notes
An interesting scene at the 254 meter long and 25 meter high bridge over the Rhine near Hemishofen. While a boat, called "Weidling", slowly drifts down the river, the privately owned diesel locomotive Em 3/3 # 18814 clatters over the 1875 built bridge, watched carefully by the men on the boat. The woman, on the other hand, discovered the photographer on the riverbank and looks at him. A wild duck was startled by the whistle of the engineer and she flutters through the picture. And on the other side of the river, an old WW II bunker can be seen. The river is not the state border between Switzerland and Germany here as elsewhere, both banks are Switzerland.
