A Beautiful End to a Rough Commute: ACS-64 Veterans Engine #642 approaches Metropark Station with Northeast Regional Train 178 minutes before sunset on Friday, May 11, 2018. A late afternoon trespasser strike in Plainsboro had disrupted Amtrak and NJ Transit service through Central Jersey, putting this train a few minute behind schedule. This fan-favorite engine, coupled with the beautiful sunset made for a pleasant sight for this photographer, who was stuck in Trenton for an extended period before service resumed.
