On the occasion of the open doors event in the Bahnpark Brugg (AG), 7 steam vehicles of SBB Historic and Eurovapor Sulgen are lined up in the roundhouse. From left "Elephant" C 5/6 # 2978 from 1917, "Elephant" C 5/6 # 2969 from 1916 (Eurovapor Sulgen), B 3/4 # 1367 from 1916, Eb 3/5 # 5819 from 1912, A 3/5 # 705 from 1904, steam railcar CZm 1/2 # 31 from 1902 and D 1/3 # 1 "Limmat" from 1847 (replica built in 1947, first locomotive of the first railway in Switzerland)
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
