      Remarks & Notes
Exercising their trackage rights, homebound Clinton to Barstow, IL road switcher R CHI4291 30A trudges through the hot and humid atmosphere as it leans into a small curve south of Princeton, IA on Canadian Pacific's Davenport Subdivision. This train is beginning to drop its speed preparing to take the siding at Le Claire to meet a northbound empty sand train already patiently waiting, which coincidentally also has BNSF power. Today's job has a healthy cut of 52 cars on the drawbars including plastic loads and various petroleum products from Equistar Chemicals LP, corn syrup from ADM and steel pipe loads from Ipsco in Camanche.
