Hold Your Horses
I mentioned before that the Pittsburgh Line is rumored to start PTC operation next month (August), but that isn't the only rumor flying around. The other rumor is that PennDOT will be tearing down the 1939 Parker through-truss US 220 bridge and replacing it with something else (likely a boring cookie-cutter span). The bridge was refurbished in 1992 and carries less than 6,000 vehicles per day on average. |
