| 12 car highspeed train ICE 4 # 9007 of the Deutsche Bahn (DB) on a test run in Switzerland for approval of Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system ETCS L1/L2, between Murgenthal and Rothrist. This 346 meter long train with a power of 9900 kW can reach 250 km/h and has 830 seats in first and second class. 6 of the cars are powered (series 412) and 6 non powered 812. The trains are built by Siemens and Bombardier (about 30 %). The Deutsche Bahn wants to have up to 300 of this trains. |
