A long way from home- ex SNCF BB25109 is seen heading west along the banks of the Danube - Black Sea Canal at Medgidia in eastern Romainia. In 2007 a number of the dwindling BB25200 class, disappearing from French metals were sold to Romainian freight company GFR. They can now be found across Romainia on all manner of freight duties. Delivered in a wide range of French liveries most locomotives now carry a version of the familiar 'Fret' SNCF scheme.
