Remarks & Notes

RF&P 1002 has seen better days. This streamliner once wore the RF&P's gray and blue scheme and hauled passenger around Washington D.C and Richmond. Today its owned by the Virginia Museum of Transportation and lies in storage at Roanoke yard. There is little RF&P equipment still existing and hopefully this unit can soon be restored for display.
