| After class, I decided to take a stab at catching the southbound ore train on the old Bessemer mainline. Instead, I was surprised with a southbound geometry train, led by an ex-Conrail GP38 now owned by the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad. I was later surprised again by a southbound local led by a couple of BLE locomotives. I never did see the southbound ore. Funny how railfanning works sometimes. |
