| First test run of a new TRAVERSO from StadlerRail for the Südostbahn (SOB) between Sulgen and Erlen. This 8 car "Flirt 3" RABe 526 # 102/202 will run as Voralpen-Express between St.Gallen and Lucerne from december 2019. The train is 151 meter long, has 359 seats (68 in first class) and a maximum velocity of 160 km/h. For the Voralpen-Express were 6 trains ordered, and 11 more for the traffic between Basel/Zürich via Gotthard mountain line to Locarno in cooperation with the SBB from December 2020. |
