    Remarks & Notes
In 2002, on the Marceline Sub, we have this westbound empty bare table train blasting thru the west end of Medill on clear evening. The train is sporting alittle bit of everything in this BNSF era for power as they make their way towards KC. Originally built in 1997 for the BNSF, in early 2018 this SD75 (282) would get a new life when rebuilt and a fresh H-3 paint. The old Santa Fe style signals under the train would safely move trains til around 2013 when PTC upgrades change this shot.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
