Back in 1996 the UP was about a year into the CNW acquisition. The mainline thru Iowa still seen numerous trains with CNW power at the helm. Here an eastbound APL stacker blast left handed running between Dewitt and Grand Mound in eastern Iowa with only 1 UP unit in consist. The train is less than 20 miles from the next crew change point at Clinton, IA.
