| GT22CU-3 (rebuilt from GR 12) # 2402 and GL26C-2 # 2010 and # 2005 are running along the Salar de Ascotan on about 3730 meter a.s.l in the andean highland in northern Chile towards the border at Ollagüe. Trainload from Mejillones to Ollagüe (-San Cristóbal mine) was 52 cars with 104 emtpy round containers for ore transport. Note the Vicunja in the foreground. |
