| A coal empty out of East Dubuque or Williams, is about to take the Cherokee Sub towards Sioux City for the final leg of the trip. These trains would come and go from the BNSF at Sioux City. The old Tara depot has seen its better days. Once had life when the IC and M&St.L once did business here many many years ago. Surprised this depot hasn't been knocked down yet in 2018. The signals in the back ground and all coal trains on the Iowa Zone are also long gone. Tara is located 6 miles west of Fort Dodge and is where the Waterloo Sub junctions with the Omaha and Cherokee Subs. |
