| Touching the sky! The FCAB line to Bolivia is reaching nearly 4000 meter on the Ascotan pass summit, here we are on about 3450 m. Untypical precipitations in december 2011 caused more snow then usual on the volcanos. Former Queensland Railway GL26C-2 # 2004 and former Columbia (FNC) GT22CU-3 (rebuilt GR12) # 2404 are pulling a boxcar train from Bolivia to Antofagasta south of the Ascotan pass, with about 5900 meter high mountains in the background. |
