        Remarks & Notes
For over thirty years, before the Reading & Northern came to town, George Hart’s Rail Tours, Inc. provided excursions out of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. Here passengers prepare to board a train pulled by Hawk Mountain Chapter, NRHS’ Jersey Central RS3. Also seen are an old coach and a “fireless cooker” once owned by the Pennsylvania Power & Light Company. The 0-6-0 stored-steam loco has since been seen in Tamaqua, on display in a blue quasi-Thomas paint scheme, with Reddy Kilowatt on the nose

The time is gone, the song is over, snapshots and memories remains... Some things we remember, some we see now - and will not forget...
