| BNSF 3160 leads two mates and a freight through Boulder on the way to Louisville, Colorado. This engine is unique and is one of five GP50 extended cab engines built in 1985, designed to accommodate a crew of 5 so that the caboose could be removed from the train. Eventually it was determined that the overall crew size could be reduced and the extended cabs were eliminated. |
