Remarks & Notes
Ge 4/4 II # 624 "Celerina/Schlarigna" has a special paint scheme (foils) since 2014 already, saying the Rhaetian Railway has 50000 fans on Facebook. The background of the design is made of 50000 small portraits of the persons, who sent their picture to the RhB. The locomotive is leaving Ardez, shoving the push-pull train Regio 1929 from Scuol-Tarasp to Pontresina. The car is a standard IV type first class long version, from which only 3 were built (two operational nowadays) in 1993. Still one of the most comfortable cars of the RhB! The castle-like nice building on the left is a typical former power switching station house (not used anymore), common at the stations in the Engadine, which was electrified with 11000 V 16,7 Hz AC from the opening in 1913. The station building in the Engadine style is typical for the line, too.
