    Remarks & Notes
On a rainy May afternoon, a Delaware & Hudson Potomac Yard train pulls through East Penn Junction, Pennsylvania as it departs Allentown yard. Waiting to get clearance to enter the yard is a nine car east Pen Local in the care of a former Penn Central GP9. Beside the signals a few other remnants of the former Reading yard infrastructure remain. I’m standing on the scale track, and the scale area can be seen parallel to the second unit. In the distance under the cantilever signal bridge is the former Reading tower by Auburn Street in Allentown. Today a few signal boxes provide remote control of the plany, which is now known by NS as CP Burn.
