| The Connecticut Valley Railroad, also known as the Essex Steam Train & Riverboat runs a number of Christmas trains each season. On weekends during the season, the railroad is running trains for most of the day using all three operable steam locomotives on the roster. Valley #3025 is a 1989 Chinese Mikado that is rebuilt to resemble a New Haven Railroad Class J-1. Here the train is seen departing "The North Pole" in Deep River. |
