Led by a 3,000-hp SF30C, built using a U36C to start with, a Santa Fe 991 train roars through the reverse curves of Cable on Tehachapi Pass. The double track that starts at Cable's west switch continues all the way to Mojave. Part of that stretch is 2 Main Track, meaning it's CTC-signaled for both directions on either track.
