| A hot Z9 train has no problem tackling the grade of Goffs Hill with its 5.3 horsepower per ton ratio as it has to notch off the throttle for the 30 MPH curve between Ibis and Arrowhead Jct on main one. The long 90 degree curve creates a more genital grade (1.4%) compare to main two which is 1.9 at that location. |
